Admissions open for 2025-26
Tunbridge High School promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship through a wide range of sporting activities. With dedicated coaching and various team sports, students develop their skills, build confidence, and learn the importance of perseverance and camaraderie.
Every student has the opportunity to participate.
Here are some of the sporting events conducted throughout the year:
The Senior School Annual Athletic Meet, held in November, showcases the talents and dedication of student athletes through a vibrant march past, exciting track and field events, and impressive drills. Middle School students (Stds 5 to 7) present a group drill, while Senior School students (Stds 8 to 10) captivate audiences with individual House drills based on unique themes. These performances highlight creativity, choreography, physical dexterity, and seamless synchronization, all accompanied by engaging commentary.
The Junior Athletic Meet at Tunbridge High School for Pre Nursery to Std 4 is a vibrant event where young sports enthusiasts participate in a variety of exciting sports events, including novelty races. In addition to the races, students also showcase their coordination and teamwork through impressive drills, and a scouts & guides presentation, making it a fun and energetic day for all involved.
The Tunbridge Mini Sports are eagerly anticipated, featuring fun events like slow cycling, sack races, and tug-of-war. Creative obstacle races challenge teams on strength, dexterity, mental agility, and more! These Mini Sports are designed to ensure every student has the chance to participate and shine, embracing inclusivity and celebrating diverse abilities.
Our school proudly participates in the CISCE games, sending the largest contingent to ensure our students experience these larger-than-life events. Competing in cricket, football, basketball, taekwondo, chess and athletics, our students not only showcase their talents but also develop teamwork, resilience, and a passion for sports.
